- The Friends of the Cynwyd Heritage Trail are having their Annual Members meeting at 7:15 on Monday, June 14 at the Lower Merion Academy – which is the old school building next to Bala Cynwyd Middle School. We will briefly update you on the progress the Friends have made in the past year, and what our goals are going forward.
- Our main program is a panel presentation from Brian Haines and Kim Douglas – the designers of the trail – Chris Leswing, and perhaps a Lower Merion commissioner or two; discussing “The Cynwyd Heritage Trail: What are the Next Steps to Implement the Vision?” Participants will have an opportunity to pose questions of the panelists. Finally, we will provide opportunities for you to get involved in our organization. We are asking attendees who have not already done so to renew or become members . Please plan to join the Friends when you attend the meeting. Annual membership is $35.00.
- We need volunteers to adopt trees to water over the summer. Contact Chris Leswing cleswing@lowermerion.org, and he will assign you your trees and send you a web link to record when you water.
